The combat system of the game has been redone from scratch to provide a "more visceral experience and control than ever before," and all new dynamic challenges and new enemy types have been added as well. Sadly, like many of the games announced at E3 this year, Dead Island 2 isn't being released (on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC) until 2015, but we are at least getting a window of 'spring.
